Assets overview

The Asset Library in Hub provides a central place to store, organise and manage digital assets connected to your product catalogue.

Assets can include product images, technical documents, certificates, marketing materials and other files used across your organisation.

The main Assets page gives you an overview of the files stored in Hub.

Each asset can display information such as:

You can change how assets are displayed, search for specific files and use filters to narrow down larger asset libraries.

Assets in Hub can exist independently or be connected to one or more product variants.

For example, a single environmental certificate might apply to several variants, while an individual product image may only be linked to one.

These relationships allow product information and digital assets to be managed together without creating duplicate files.

Assets can be organised using labels.

Labels allow you to classify files according to information relevant to your organisation, such as:

Labels can be applied to individual assets or to multiple assets at once.

Select an asset to open its Asset Details page.

From here, you can review the asset, edit its information, manage its status, see its associated product variants and change its labels.

You can also select multiple assets to perform actions in bulk.

Use Upload assets to add new files to your Asset Library.

During upload, assets can be connected to product variants and assigned labels so that they are organised correctly from the moment they are added.
