Variant editing

The variant page in Hub gives you full control over product variations, including specifications, images, and metadata. This guide walks you through the key sections and how to efficiently manage variant information.

Managing variant metadata​

  • Copy metadata – Duplicate metadata from one variant to another for faster data entry using the duplicate icon.

  • Change metadata – Edit specifications, descriptions, and other details directly within the variant info section.

Working with variant images​

Uploading variant images​

  1. Go to assets – Click on the Assets icon in the left navigation panel.

  2. Add a new asset – Click on Add Asset in the top-right corner.

  3. Upload your image – Drag and drop your file or browse to select an image from your device.

  4. Find target variants – Use the search bar to locate the variants you want to assign the image to.

  5. Select variants – Choose variants individually or use bulk select.

  6. Proceed to next step – Click Next in the bottom-right corner.

  7. Image uploaded – The selected image is now linked to the variants.

Duplicating and deleting variants​

Duplicating variants​

  1. Select variants – From the product page, choose the variants you want to duplicate.
  2. Click duplicate – Click the Duplicate button to create copies of the selected variants.

Deleting variants​

  1. Select variants – From the product page, choose the variants you want to delete.
  2. Click delete – Click the Delete button to remove the selected variants.

Navigating with breadcrumbs​

Located at the top of the page, breadcrumbs allow you to quickly move back to the main product page or other sections without losing track of where you are.
